Our Singular Missional Purpose
Having a singular purpose helps the church advance with speed and intensity in the fulfillment of the mission that Jesus has called us to. Clarity creates unity and unity produces immense power and productivity.
“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,[a] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” 1 Corinthians 1:10 (NIV)
Our Purpose Statement: Why we exist as a church
Following Jesus daily and helping others do the same.
What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus at D|A?
- A disciple gathers with other believers to worship God on a weekly basis (or as often as possible). And gathers with God on a daily basis to devote themselves to Him.
- A disciple grows more like Christ through fellowship & minister with other Christians.
- A disciple goes into the whole global & local world to spread the good news of Jesus Christ!
We want to Gather, Grow, and Go.
